WASH KASTLES

Two Tyres Design collaborated with Eden’s on a popup tennis court for the Washington Kastles’ professional tennis team. The court was to be built on top of the Union Market building in Washington, DC. The unique court setup will take advantage of the open space of the rooftop but also benefit from the view of the Capitol building and Washington, DC.
Process
Using an existing Revit model of the Union Market building and the site plan of the court, Two Tyres was able to create a 3-D model in Rhino. Once the model was created in Rhino, Two Tyres was able to push the development of the project to include fan seating and dining areas, players benches, concession areas as well as a jumbotron.
